Pastor Borders has been involved in preaching ministry for more than 30 years and has served as pastor of AWC for more than 13 years. Growing up the son of a pastor and missionary he learned valuable lessons in leading and developing people which shines through with the love that he shows the congregation he now leads. His ministry has been complimented by his wife, Denise. Pastor Borders has a passion for foreign missions and has been on several missions trips in various countries.

Jonathan was raised as a child in Apostolic Worship Center He is passionate about reaching young adults and developing relationships with them as they search for direction in life. Jonathan is joined by his wife, Kristi, their lovely daughter, Kalista, and twins, Kohen and Kamry. He also serves as the 20somethings minisry coordinator for the Oklahoma District UPC Youth Department.

YOUTH PASTOR
Derek Borders

Derek is a third generation preacher. He has been involved in youth ministry for the past 8 years. Along with his wife, Amanda, and two sons, Bryce and Cayden, he has a heartbeat to see a generation of young people filled with a passion for Jesus Christ. Derek is a graduate of Community Christian School of Norman, OK. He also serves as Secretary Treasurer for the Oklahoma District UPC Youth Department.
